What the heck does Balancing your elements with essential oils have to do with Grief you might be asking? Oh and why did I just mention grief? Loads of questions will come from reading these next blog posts. 

I am calling myself a transformation coach who specializes in grief processing, to answer the second question. Read on to answer the first.

So my take on all this!

When we are experiencing times where we are aware of grief its relatively easy to allow our emotions to be. Most people are comfortable with feeling the loss and moving on. Interestingly there are as many ways to deal with grief as there are people. No one person is going to experience the same as another. I'm confident we all get this. 

What about those times when you had plans and its not working out the way you thought it would. Most situations we can deal with and move on and yet sometimes it just seems like our reactions are way out of the park. Why is this? It's simple really, we aren't given clear instructions at any point of our lives on how to deal with our emotions. And we sure aren't given a book on allowing other people to experience their emotions in their own way. We all but in and have expectations or preconceptions on what is right or wrong. Don't get me started on that topic!

So balancing your elements has its foundations in emotion processing. Can you see that ? When we use essential oils why do they affect the emotions.

Basically essential oils can help us unlock blocked emotions and allow emotions to flow. The support essential oils offers is endless when your challenged in anyway with any part of the grief process. 

Lets talk examples. 

Your having breathing problems or your bowels are not flowing freely. Your waking up at 4am every day and finding it hard to get back to sleep and when you wake up your tired. We would look at your Lung and large intestines channel and talk to you about what has changed recently? What is different in your life? Then you would offer that maybe you have moved or that you changed jobs or that you didn't get a promotion or simply that your not sure whats been happening. 

We would then suggest based on your reply - lungs - loss - Easy Air, Forgive or Console blends diffused and used as a perfume until you experience a change. 

Large Intestines - holding on - Forgive, digestzen blends or ginger and or  fennel. I would suggest adding these to some specific points on your hands and stomach.

There is no correct answer for the right oils to rebalance your elements. Its about trial and error and finding what works for you. What element are you re-balancing ? The metal element is key with these meridians and conditions and yet it could be that Fire is controlling your metal.

How do we work it out ? Loads of questions 

If its fire playing silly buggers then your ability to experience joy in a healthy way would be a concern. You could be laughing everything off or completely numb. So If your experiencing this with the waking at 4am, lungs - loss, then we would look at geranium and frankincense possibly. 

If its your over thinking about the issues then its more likely earth that is out of balance and you can try lime, bergamot, and or basil. These ones would be as purfume and in diffuser. 

When your sitting in fear around how to move on then its water that is out of balance. To so I would be looking at clary sage and or Ylang Ylang. 

We could also look at people who have expectations through the roof, those list writing peeps whom need consistency.Those people need movement and so smart and sassy could help, but I like cilantro or coriander for wood balancing. 

Basically you are destined to have loads of questions about what's been written as its just giving you a snap shot.
